There are an endless amount of new media applications available on our computers and smart phones so coming up with a new one takes much thought. If I were to create the next new thing, I would create a student active application, where every student in a specific class can link to each other in a big messaging application similar to a “whatsapp” application, being able to communicate in an “Imessage” group chat, or start private chat rooms for discussing studying materials, homework, and ideas. This would be beneficial to everyone in college because there would be separate messaging rooms for separate classes and you can upload a picture as your avatar and find classmates on the app for each specific class without asking for their number.

This idea is awesome! I would find this very helpful as a college student. It would really help other students and myself be able to ask for help and to get a quick response right away because all of your classmates would see it and someone would respond. Rather then sending an email to a busy professor who might not get back to you in time.
